The National Day of Prayer is May 4th!
**Due to the weather forecast, we are hosting the Saginaw Township prayer event in the Venue at North Campus tomorrow, 12:15-1:15p.**
The ‘National Day of Prayer’ is a day to pray for our nation, pray for wisdom of the country, to recall history, and to pray before God. We seek wisdom for our leaders, and seek His undeserving grace. There has been 144 National calls to prayer since it’s beginning in 1775 all with the purpose of praying for our flourishing nation. This day is about bringing together all denominations, breaking language, race, age, and gender barriers, and praying to the God that unifies us and for the nation we all share. From the National Day of Prayer Task Force website; “The mission of the National Day of Prayer Task Force is to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage personal repentance and righteousness in the culture.”
This year NDOP will be on May 4th. The Dow Event Center will be hosting a City Wide Worship and Prayer Gathering for anyone who would like to attend. They are offering free parking for the event. Doors open at 6:30pm with Worship at 7:00pm.
