EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/PASTOR OF MINISTRIES
The Executive Director/Pastor of Ministries will lead, manage, and align our Ministry Staff in pursuit of our mission to be a community of grace and truth inviting people to know and follow Jesus. As Chief of Staff, the Executive Director/Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor and Elder Board to implement our vision and values. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, project oversight, ministry coaching, and staff management. The Executive Director/Pastor of Ministries is a full-time position. This person is spiritually maturing as a Christian and gifted in Leadership and Administration with strong communication and people skills. They will have a Bachelor’s Degree in ministry or business administration with previous experience as a senior leader in a comparable setting (church, business, non-profit).
Ministry Coordinator - Bay City Campus
This individual will help further the mission and vision of Hopevale Church by working directly with, and under the supervision of, our Campus Pastor and under the direction of and in collaboration with our Worship Director & Kids Ministry Director, helping to coordinate the day-to-day functions of our Bay City Campus. A qualified candidate will have strong communication skills, take direction and coordinate ministry functions to help set the stage for successful Sunday morning ministry. This individual will have a servants heart and the desire to see others and ministry excel at the highest level. They must be able to lead, manage, recruit, train, and encourage volunteer teams. They must have strong relational skills while being able to develop and follow systems. This person must possess superior technology skills, including the ability to create graphics, run Pro Presenter, Photo Shop, etc. The qualified individual will have a heart for seeing others know Christ through serving them and by creating positive environments.
One must be able to coordinate the various aspects of ministry by gathering and distributing necessary resources to volunteers and also setting up ministry areas as needed. The ability to organize and handle the moving pieces of Sunday morning worship, kids ministry, lobby environment are important aspects to this position. The use of technology to communicate, schedule, and fill needs will also be vital to this role. This person will need to grasp new software quickly and will also possess general office skills, be able to take direction and complete tasks in a timely fashion, work independently, have great people skills, and represent Hopevale with a positive Christ like lifestyle. This individual will help further the mission of Hopevale Church by working directly with, and under the supervision of our Facility Manager, being sure to help create great environments for our guest to enjoy! This individual will be self-driven and must find joy in serving others. This role is extremely important as this individual will help keep our facilities clean, secure, safe, orderly, and prepared for the many groups that provide ministry to our community. Although not an upfront position, this individual must be able to comfortably interact with our staff and many guests who come through our doors. As a member of our team you will play a very important role in how people go about enjoying their experience while at Hopevale Church. We see our buildings & grounds as tools for ministry and outreach within our community. Ministry Team Childcare Provider
This individual will help further the mission and vision of Hopevale Church by working directly with, and under the supervision of our Children’s Ministry and/or Community Group Staff, helping to care for young children. This individual will responsible for providing direction & guidance to children birth through 5th grade for various programs at Hopevale Church. A qualified candidate will need to work directly with children, in a loving way, doing various tasks and activities as instructed by their ministry supervisor. This individual must be able to follow curriculum, work side-by-side with others, be the liaison between child/family and our ministry, follow procedures & protocol to help create a safe, fun-loving environment for our young people. The qualified person will be representing Hopevale Church in various ministries and will need to uphold themselves in a healthy way through social media, appearance, & conversations.
